Our most asked question - HOW DOES THE GARDEN WORK?
Our community gardens are run by amazing volunteers who have paid a small annual membership to cover insurance, tools and supplies.
If you are a member, we invite you to toil the soil with your fellow volunteers and share the harvest. Join here.
We have an elected Garden Planning Team who prepare for the upcoming season. We invite everyone to contribute and work as a big team to plant and toil the soil. We like to share the vegetables that take longer to grow, for example broccoli or zucchini, as a group for fairness, on Friday mornings and Sunday mornings. Faster growing produce, such as warrigal greens and kale, where individual leaves can be picked, can be harvested more regularly.
If you are not sure, just ask!
If you are a visitor to the garden, you are welcome to take a leaf or a herb or two for your personal daily needs, but please leave the roots and plant behind.
